citizenship classes
Barbara's House’s United States Citizenship Program provides preparation classes in both English and Spanish for those Greenwich residents who wish to become United States citizens. These classes are offered every Sunday morning from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Barbara's House’s offices. Outside of class, Barbara's House assists students with filing the necessary forms, arranging appointments, and obtaining study materials. In addition, Barbara's House offers transportation to and from the citizenship exams. This program is proud to have ten to fifteen graduates per year; totaling more than two hundred to date.

This guide was created to help new members of the community navigate such issues as child care, healthcare, employment, housing, and legal services. These services can enable Immigrants to lead healthy, safe, and productive lives in Connecticut.
